3.10　The Protection of the Computer Network Interface and Control Terminal Interface

3.10.1　Vrious interfaces of computer network，control terninal Ethernet，RS232，RS422，RS485 and the like and cables shall be added with SPDs according to relevant provisions of Chapter 9 of this code.

3.10.2　SPDs for computer interfaces control terminals and network data lines shall satisfy requirements on transmission rate of various interface equipment，and line position，line arrangement，line sequence shall be compatible with protected equipment interfaces.

3.10.3　Computer control centers or control units must be set at the middle part of buildings，and must be far away from the distribution paths of lightning current.Besides，The power supply socket on the outer walls of buildings must not be directly used for computers.
