Adding/removing uplink adapters to dvUplink groups

Physical NICs (vmnic#), used in existing uplinks on a vSS, can be easily migrated when you are adding hosts to a vDS, but you can also add or remove physical NICs later.

One way is using, again, the Add and Manage Hosts wizard add-on described in the previous section.

But you can also the same procedure of the vSS, host by host. Using the vSphere Web Client, you can select the desired host, then select the Configure tab and Virtual switches in the Networking menu.

Select the vDS and then the Manage the physical network adapters connected to the selected switch icon:
