VPC limitations
Consider the limitations of VPCs. By default, you are allowed to create 5 VPCs per region. This number can be increased by contacting AWS support. However, you are limited to 200 subnets per VPC, so when you're designing subnets, there is no need to leave room for more than 200 subnets in your VPC network range. The 200 subnet limit is a hard limit. You can also create up to 5 IPv4 network ranges (one primary and four secondary) per VPC. This limit can be increased if needed. For IPv6 ranges, you are only allowed to create one IPv6 range per VPC. This is a hard limit and cannot be increased.
